More
than 10 million Diasporas are living
across the globe. The remittance from the Diaspora
is approximately 7% of GDP of Bangladesh. Aside from sending hefty remittance,
each Diaspora is a ‘Brand Ambassador’ aboard for our homeland. Diaspora
Bangladeshis in the Middle East, Europe, Australia, America, Canada, and
elsewhere are creating a good reputation
for Bangladesh with their hard-work, honesty,
and ingenuity. From NASA to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), from
the restaurant business in London to
local small business in Jackson Heights, New York, to perfume business in the UAE,
or the real estate business in Paris; Diaspora Bangladeshis are making significant
progress in their personal and professional lives. We have several Diaspora active
parliamentarians in the United Kingdom.
Imagine all the successful and talented Bangladeshi Diaspora is united and unified, under one global umbrella platform, to work shoulder-to-shoulder and hand-in-hand for the betterment for our motherland.
Thank you for taking the time to read our Mission & Vision and
to consider being a member of the World Bangladesh Organization (WBO).
